Scope of the Role:
Supports clinical and commercial supply of vector and associated plasmids and cell banks through the life cycle; monitor KPIs (Key Performance Indicator), execute against planning assumptions and appropriately escalate risks to ensure a seamless vector supply.
The vector supply planning manager has a demonstrated track record of success in a highly matrixed and cross-functional organization, with a high level of independence and empowerment, able to work with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver against supply chain strategies and execute plans based on brand priorities.
Responsibilities:
o Maintain vector, plasmids, and cell banks supply inventory projections for the brand, as part of monthly SD&OP (Sales Development & Operations Planning) cycleo Effectively evaluate, mitigate, and communicate any inventory or supply risks that may impact product supply, preparation of inventory run-outs charts, and obsolescence analysiso Create plasmids and cell banks forecasts for manufacturing and testing sites based of supply plans and track actual performance through KPIso Maintain Master data for Vector Planning to ensure demand propagation and supply planning in the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systemo Execute vector fragmentation management that enables correct demand signals based on country requirements through product's life cycleo Support implementation of new vector supply nodes, execute vector transfer to DP sites based on supply strategy and coordinate shipment activities with Global Logistics to ensure on-time delivery of vectoro Create change controls for materials introductions and perform impact assessments on vector related change controls.
Leads Change control assessments, generates change actions and tracks them to completion for required change controlso Partners with other vector planners to ensure standardization of process, share best practices, learnings, and other information important to continuous improvement of Global Supply Planning processes and tools.
o Partners with BI&A, BPOs (Business Process Owner) and vector planners to track and deliver ongoing work on the vector digitization projecto Tracks and provides updates on key milestones and deliverables for assigned projectso Live the BMS valuesJob
Qualifications:
o B.
S.
or BA in supply chain management, science and/or engineering (biotechnology, engineering or related sciences).
MBA or similar advanced degree preferred.
o 5
years of related experience in working in a fast-paced, reputable, global pharmaceutical/Biotechnology or Consumer company organized in a matrix structure.
o Highly Preferred:
experience in manufacturing and supply chain.
o Strongly Preferred:
Good understanding and exposure to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other regulatory requirements (EMA, TGA).
o Ability to work effectively with cross-functional & multi-location teams.
Experience working in and with multiple geographies preferredo Ability to establish strong relationships and achieve success through collaborationo Knowledge of ERP, ideally Oracle, SAP IBP and SAP R/4, and related supply chain planning and data analysis tools.
o Excellent analytical, organizational, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
o Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
o Knowledge of compliance procedures (regulatory/ financial /EHS)o Ability to prioritize, organize and manage multiple tasks to tight deadlines.
o Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and an understanding of the global practices where business is conducted.
The starting compensation for this job is a range from $92,000 - $115,000, plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility).
The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed.
Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
